Bienvenidos a "Las arenas de todos los mares tienen un número", una muestra que explora la esencia humana a través del retrato fotográfico. En una era marcada por la inteligencia artificial y los filtros digitales, esta exposición resalta la importancia de las conexiones humanas auténticas, en un contexto donde los encuentros cara a cara son cada vez más escasos.
Este género ha fascinado a fotógrafos y artistas a lo largo de los siglos. En esta exhibición, celebramos esa atracción y mostramos cómo un retrato puede capturar la verdadera identidad de una persona. Como dijo Alejandra Pizarnik:
"En esta noche, en este mundo, el silencio es extraordinario. Lo que pasa con el alma es que no se ve, lo que pasa con la mente es que no se ve, lo que pasa con el espíritu es que no se ve. ¿De dónde viene esta conspiración de invisibilidades? Ninguna palabra es visible." — Alejandra Pizarnik, Textos de sombra y últimos poemas (1971-1972).
Inspirados por estas palabras, los fotógrafos presentes han capturado lo que las palabras no logran expresar. A través de sus lentes, cada retrato nos invita a ver más allá de lo físico, revelando el alma, la mente y el espíritu del retratado. Estos momentos son fruto de una conexión íntima entre el fotógrafo y su modelo, en la que la apariencia externa se desvanece para dar paso a una verdad más profunda.
Cada imagen va más allá de la estética, utilizando la luz, el encuadre y la pose para destacar la complejidad y singularidad de cada rostro. No solo revelan el exterior, sino que nos permiten vislumbrar el universo interior de cada sujeto.

Actores Secundarios: Sebastián Yankeliovich
La primera muestra individual de Sebastián Yankeliovich en Buenos Aires, Actores Secundarios, propone un viaje por la ciudad desde un ángulo íntimo y revelador. Más que un recorrido lineal, es una deriva en la que el espectador es invitado a encontrar, a través del lente, personajes y escenas que se ven cuando uno camina distraído. Yankeliovich otorga protagonismo a esos gestos sutiles y fragmentos que, en su obra, emergen con fuerza, sugiriendo que en los márgenes de la realidad palpita una narrativa que está esperando ser contada.
Con una formación en periodismo y cine, y más de 25 años de trayectoria con cámaras de todo tipo, Yankeliovich entiende la fotografía como una extensión de su experiencia cotidiana. Su obra responde a una premisa sencilla: “la mejor cámara es la que se tiene en la mano”. Con esta filosofía, captura lo espontáneo y efímero, sin filtro ni poses, como un acto contemplativo que busca revelar la textura de la vida urbana.
Esta muestra reúne imágenes de su archivo personal y de sus viajes realizados en más de diez países, donde retrata transeúntes y momentos fugaces que encuentran en lo público una resonancia profundamente íntima. A través de un abanico de enfoques, que atraviesan desde la precisión técnica hasta capturas instintivas y sencillas, Yankeliovich rehúye a la búsqueda de un producto final perfecto en favor de un contacto visceral con el entorno. Sus imágenes —a veces sobre o subexpuestas— transmiten un sentido de urgencia y autenticidad, logrando una obra cruda y honesta, que no busca embellecer la realidad, sino exponerla.

Ether: A Window to the Universe
Ether represents the intangible and mysterious space that connects everything in the universe. In this call, we immerse ourselves in the far reaches of the deep sky where the photography and the astronomy meet to reveal what is invisible to the human eye.
Astrophotography is much more than a technique: It is a window to what is infinite. Through the long exposure photography and the use of advanced optical technology it is possible to register the hidden beauty of the galaxies, the nebulae and the stars that comprise our universe.

Labyrinths of the World
The labyrinth has been a powerful symbol throughout history, representing everything from the enigma and the mystery to the search of self-awareness and the overcoming of obstacles. In this photography exhibition, we invite photographers that had captured images of labyrinths from any place in the world, either real labyrinths, mythical or conceptual ones, to present their personal vision of these fascinating
spaces.
If you have ever photographed a labyrinth in any part of the world, we would love it if you could share those images. It does not matter if they were taken spontaneously on a family trip, if they were taken as a hobby or professionally; each photograph tells a unique story. Recording these places, either coincidentally or intentionally, is a valuable contribution that deserves to be shown.
